	It needs a great quantity of water, because it is adapted to the mountains, between the 200 and 2000 meters, with precipitations around 700 mm. It grows very fast with the suitable quantity of water.


	For medium, subalpine or alpine gardens. It is a suitable tree to get timber.

	Shade or demishade. It tolerates low temperatures in winter , although it doesn't tolerate high temperatures in summer. It resists the wind and the the freezing temperature very well, the same as the snow for which its silhouette is adapted.

	Any type of soil , with a good drainage.
