Being a plant that, in the wild, grows next to the currents of water, it precises a very abundant and continuous watering.
 
 
  From seeds and by means of  division. It has got  a great self-reproductive capacity by means of seeds that are very abundant and, dispersed by the water or for other factors,  can remain latent during a lot of time. This reproduction system transforms it into an invasive plant . One  can also take advantage of the many sprouts it developes to reproduce it.
