July - september. Flowers till 3 cm with 13 petals and purple filaments. Reddish leaves.
 
 
Scarcely, it has to be watered like cactus.
 
 
As a garden plant in rocky places.
 
 
In full sun.
 
   
From division. Although it can be reproduced very easily , it takes a long time to bloom.
 
 
Sandy soil with a good drainage.
