Animation of Pollination

ANIMATIONS OF PLANTS

Observe the following animation to understand pollination. The movie shows a bee pollinating a spurge flower (Euphorbia):

“Pollination consists in the transfer of pollen from the male part of a plant to the female part of the same plant or much more frequently from the male plant of a plant to the female part of another one belonging to the same species”

“This process can be carried out in several ways but it is very interesting the pollination that bees carry out for the peculiar adaptations plants have experienced to attract and facilitate the work to these insects”
