What are the main curative properties of baked apples?

This is a delicious and healthy recipe that gives us natural fruit sugars with high fiber (pectin).

Apple sugars are easily digested energy without fats, which make it a tonic food, sweet and enjoyable for the whole family diet.

We can introduce at breakfast or snack for children, youth and adults.

The elderly, sick or convalescent individuals can also benefit from its nutritional properties.

A baked apple is suitable for people with stomach ulcers, gastritis or heartburn. Easily digestible and with demulcent properties, it helps protect the stomach.

For its properties to treat constipation, it can be given to children, adults, the elderly or pregnant. It is also adequate for diarrhea.

Sweet and suitable for people who follow a weight loss plan, with heart problems, cholesterol, or diabetes, since it contains no added sugars.

Ingredients:

  • Apples

Preparation:

  • Wash the apples.
  • Bake at 160 ºC for 20 – 30 minutes.
  • Low heat is important so they do not burn and the result is sweeter.

How to eat them?

  • Serve as a dessert, breakfast or snack.
  • It can be taken hot or mild.
