What are the toxic components Cilantro?

Cilantro contains two toxic principles present in the essential oil, and which give the plant it peculiar smell: linalool and furanocoumarins (bergapten and umbelliferone).

These toxic principles of the essential oil are responsible for the reaction of contact dermatitis.
