In the table below, food and non-food items are specified according to the food group to which they belong, so that the nutrition of the colon cancer patient can be the best and most adequate.

For non vegetarians: sweet ham, salted ham without fat, white meat and lean meat, white fish.

For non vegetarians: Fatty pork and lamb meat.

Preparations of whey protein and casein, kefir and tofu.


For non vegetarians: Sausages, red meats and fats, blue fish and seafood

Fats

Olive oil and sunflower.

Butter and margarines..

Dried fruits and prepared mayonnaise sauces and prepared foods

Dairy products

Lactose-free milk, natural or lactose-free yogurt, cured, melted or non-fat lactose-free cheese.

Fresh cheese and mozzarella.

Milk, cream, fatty cheeses, fruit yogurt and yogurts enriched with cream or with fatty cheeses.

Fruits and vegetables

Cooked carrot.

All except fibrous ones (better cooked than raw).

Fibrous vegetables (type artichokes).

Fruits

Baked apple and pear, fruit in syrup and quince.

Grated apple and very ripe banana.

All other raw fruits.

Sweets and desserts

Homemade biscuits, maria biscuits and meringues.

Sugar, honey and candy.

¡Pastry, bakery, whole-grain crackers, fried cookies, stuffed biscuits, chocolate and cocoa.

Species and condiments

Salt and aromatic herbs.

Vinegar.

Spicy and irritating spices for digestive mucous membranes.

Drinks

Water, soft infusions, strained and fat free broths.

A glass of red wine during the meal.

Acid juices, soft drinks and drinks with gas, coffee, drinks with alcohol.
