June - September.  Flowers red purple, gathered in heads till  2 cm at the end of long leafless peduncles .
 
 
Keep the soil permanently humid.
 
 
Humid gardens, forming groups of flowers.
 
 
Demishade in fresh places.
 
   
By means of seeds or  division at the beginning of spring or in autumn.
 
 
Fertile soil , well drained , of acid  or neuter composition.
