Geranium sanguineum L. – (Bloody crane’s-bill)

Perennial herb of the Crane’s-bill family -gerianaceae- up to 40 cm. Numerous hairy erect stems, springing from a big rhizome. Leaves mainly basal, long-stalked, highly divided. Red-purple flowers, till 3 cm, single and the end of long stalks. In wet lands and mountain woods.
