Helleborus foetidus L. – (Stinking hellebore)

Perennial fetid plant of the Buttercup family -Ranunculaceae- up to 80 cm. Erect stems, with a basal rossette of palmately divided leaves, with till 11 lanceolate segments. Hanging, bell-shaped flowers, yellowish green, till 3 cm wide, with a purple margin. Calcareous mountains, by the woods and rocky places.
