Toxicity of fly agaric
All fly agaric is very poisonous.
Symptoms of fly agaric poisoning
a) Gastric pain, diarrhea and vomit.
b) drunkenness: Hallucinations, fantasies, well- being feeling, dreams and incapacity of remembering the dreams when coming back to reality.
The use to this drug produces drug addiction, physical decay and death.
Amanitas ingestion is one of the most common causes of mushroom poisoning, specially in the case of Amanita phalloides, which is not so easy distinguishable as fly agaric.
Emetics, gastric lavage. Medical surveillance.
