Fenugreek increases muscle mass

Fenugreek contains many essential amino acids important for the synthesis, maintenance and repair of muscle tissue. Some of the amino acids involved are lysine and methionine, both of them essential amino acids that form carnitine and taurine.

Fenugreek powder is increasingly becoming more important within the supplements to increase muscle mass and strength.

This supplement helps regulate blood sugar, due to its content of 4-hydroxy – isoleucine present in the extract of fenugreek.

Scientific studies have shown that supplements of fenugreek extract increase muscle glycogen after exercise.

That is, they causes increased synthesis of energy reserves in the muscle (glucose), getting more energy, greater strength and endurance during sport.

Caution before taking fenugreek.
