Contraindications of sorrel
When one should not use sorrel?
- Skin rashes: Occasionally, this plant has produced skin rashes.
* Nor should people take sorrel with nephritis and other kidney diseases.
- Intestinal diseases: sorrel contains anthraquinone components with laxative properties. In high doses they are irritating and have strong laxative effect.
* People with chronic constipation should not take it as an usual laxative remedy as it is a stimulant laxative, which can cause intestinal dependency
