May - September. Bluish flowers till 4,5 cm in umbels on long stems up to 45 cm. Linear leaves in a basal rosette.  Bulbaceous plant, native from Western South Africa.
 
 
Water it regularly, especially in summer and spring.  They don't accept the total dryness of the soil.
 
 
For parterres, flowerpots, alignments by  walls. They offer a period of very extensive bloom. They are appropriate to cover slopes and even in coastal atmospheres.  Also as cut flowers.
 
 
Sun, although they can prosper in demishade.
 
   
By means of division at the end of winter or seed in spring.
 
 
Any soil type, but mainly sandy, with scarce humus and well drained.
