How to grow jacaranda

Characteristics of Jacaranda mimosifolia

JACARANDA

May – June. Tubular blue flowers till 3 cm in hanging racemes, born before the leaves. Compound leaves, bipinnate, till 50 cm. Fruits in capsule, dark brown. Deciduous tree that can reach 15 m.

water

Having very superficial roots, it is convenient an abundant watering, especially in young samples. (species of tropical and subtropical origin).As it grows it can tolerate the drought better.

Square or garden tree. Very used by the beauty of its blue flowers. The wood, although it is good, is little used.
