Rhamnus lycioides L. – (Black hawthorn, mediterranean buckthorn, european buckthorn)

Perennial shrub of the Buckthorn family -rhamnaceae– till 2 metres tall. Woody prickly stems. Very varied leaves, coriacious. Flowers with insignificant petals and yellow sepals. Yellow or black fruit. With other prickly plants in dry lands.
