In our tree we use a pineapple as a base. Papaya could also have been used, for example.
Half a pineapple will be the base of our tree.
Put the pineapple base on a serving plate. Introduce four skewers forming a pyramid, and another one in the center of the pineapple base to place the Christmas star on top of it.
Fill the skewers with fruit.
Poke some shorter sticks across the pineapple base, filling them with fruit pieces or with moulded pieces of fruit, in a decorative way to resemble a Christmas tree.
Among the fruits that can help us,we have carambola (starfruit), which is easily cut and shaped in stars perfectly.
- Strawberries, grapefruit or grapes give us a nice Christmas red. In addition, grapes can remind us the Christmas tree balls.
