Summer. To ease pollination, bee-hives can be added next to the field. Pollination can be done artificially by means of a painter brush , carrying the pollen form a male flower to a female one.

At the beginning of spring , from seeds which must be transplanted about 6 weeks later, in case of clod climate. Being hotter, it can be planted directly in the soil.
