– Psyllium decreases the absorption of lithium. It is advisable to take psyllium at least 60 minutes after taking lithium.

Taken under the appropiate conditions, psyllium is considered safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, it’s advisable to consult a doctor in these cases.
It is important to stop taking psyllium if any unpleasant symptoms are noticed and to consult a doctor.
