How to prepare mushrooms cream

Ingredients for mushrooms cream (4 people):

  • 1 kilo of mushrooms.
  • 5 tablespoons cornmeal.
  • A cup of milk
  • Water
  • Olive oil.
  • A sprig of parsley.
  • Dry Bread.
  • Salt.

Preparation of mushrooms cream:

  • Wash the mushrooms and prepare them well.
  • After washing the mushrooms well and removing the damaged or unserviceable parts, cut them in slices.
  • Pour 4 tablespoons of Olive oil in a frying pan and, once hot, introduce the mushrooms. Saute the mushrooms lightly, without evaporating the water they produce. Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Dilute the cornstarch or cornmeal in a bowl with the cup of milk, stirring well to dilute it completely.
  • Pour this liquid into a saucepan, add the mushrooms and a couple of glasses of water. Salt to taste.
  • Once it starts to boil, let it simmer for half an hour.
  • Once cooked, beat it well with a whisk or blender.
  • Fry some dried bread cubes.
  • Serve hot, decorated with the dry bread cubes and some parsley leaves.

  • It is eaten as a starter. Serve it hot
