What is molibdenum?
Molybdenum is a trace element or microelement essential for the body. It is called trace element because the body requires this component in very low doses, but necessary.
A balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruits, cereals and legumes is sufficient to meet the daily needs of molybdenum.
Properties of molybdenum
– Metabolism: It is part of enzymes. Without molybdenum it would not be possible to perform many processes of the body. It is a component involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, amino acids and DNA.
Excess purine triggers gouty disease. Generally molybdenum levels are correct (except for some rare genetic diseases), and the onset of these diseases is usually produced by a diet too rich in purines, fatty liver or obesity.
Symptoms of lack or lack of molybdenum
