Kombu seaweed recipes

How to cook fried kombu “chips”



  • Kombu strips desalted or rehydrated and well drained and dried
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Fresh pepper


  • Heat the oil
  • Fry the chips until they change color and are crisp. If fresh seaweed is available, you can make kombu “knots” and fry, to obtain crispy and delicious knots.
  • Serve with pepper


A different bite, ideal to present the seaweeds to the children.
