Yogurt with raspberries, almonds and chocolate combines a food rich in protein and calcium, such as yogurt, with all the benefits of vegetable foods:

  • Black chocolate is the food richest in magnesium, one of the most important minerals for the body because of the many functions it develops.

  • Magnesium is a natural relaxant. When there is a deficit of this mineral, symptoms appear like muscle cramps or contractures. It also has an important role in the regeneration of cartilage (osteoarthritis, arthritis, ligaments, etc.).

  • Dark chocolate in moderation, is a good way to bring magnesium to our body

  • Almonds, in addition to providing high doses of magnesium, contain healthy omega 3 fats that take care of heart health.

  • Raspberries are fruits of cold climates, and have good levels of vitamin C and antioxidants. They help improve allergy symptoms, recover from colds, and prevent problems with poor circulation, high blood pressure or high cholesterol.

  • Yogurt, by its content in high quality proteins and probiotics, help to improve the intestinal flora. They are especially recommended when there are intestinal alterations, such as diarrhea, or after treatments with antibiotics.

For whom is this recipe specially recommended?

  • Athletes and in cases of stress, nervousness or a lot of mental activity, magnesium needs are higher. For this reason, some people crave chocolate when they are restless.

  • Pregnant women, because of their requirements for vitamin C, folic acid, magnesium and calcium, can consume this delicious combination to ensure the contribution of these nutrients in their diet.
