Okra cut in size for frying. They are coated directly or fried in oil.

Despite its high fat content, this is a less caloric food than other types of chips, since okra is poor in carbohydrates and rich in fiber. Ideal for feeding children or all varied and healthy diet.




  • Wash the okra and dry with paper towels.

  • Fry okra in a pan. The oil should never smoke.

  • Cover a plate with paper towels where to place okra after frying, to absorb the excess of oil.

  • Add salt and pepper to taste and serve as a starter or accompaniment.

Another variant of the recipe is to fry okra, whole or sliced, with breadcrumbs or cornmeal.
