Suitable foods to prevent hematomas or bruises

A proper diet can help reduce bruising or improve them if they occur.

Among the main right foods in the diet of the bruises we can point out the following:

- Food high in vitamin K : Vitamin K helps normalize the process of blood clotting. Eating foods rich in vitamin K protects the body against bruising. Raw green turnips are one of the highest foods in this vitamin. - Food high in vitamin C: They have antioxidant properties, capable of reducing the negative influence of free radicals on blood vessels. Eating these foods will help prevent the occurrence of bruising and promote healing.

Among the most interesting foods, we have citruses and, among them, lemon. Lemon is rich in vitamin C, along with routine and hesperidin in the maintenance of the arteries to improve the elasticity of them and prevent spills that occur in the veins and capillaries. Eating or drinking lemon juice helps prevent hypertension, controls the appearance of hemorrhoids or varices and avoids the habitual formation of bruises, small hemorrhages in gums or nose bleeding. A diet of lemon or a strawberry diet could be very interesting for people who usually suffer bruises.

- Food high in bioflavonoids: Bioflavonoids are components well suited to favour bloodstream. It has been proved the empowering and healing capacity of bioflavonoids which makes them very suitable for the treatment of circulatory diseases such as varicose veins, arteriosclerosis, phlebitis, etc.

By increasing the flexibility of the capillaries, they can better withstand without breaking so easily, being adequate to prevent bleeding, bruising, nosebleeds, etc. Moreover, the ability of bioflavonoids to increase the absorption of vitamin C, enhance the beneficial uses of this vitamin in preventing oxidation of the blood vessels.
