ADVISED FOOD LIST FOR A HEALTHY HEART

 

Food for heart health




 

 

The following table lists some foods we should eat regularly to maintain or improve heart health:

 

Beneficial food for the heart
Properties
Garlic
Facilitates the movement to thin the blood. Decreases hypertension and reduces the cholesterol.
Olive oil
Olive oil facilitates the movement to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and raise "good." (HDL) thins the blood and prevents thrombosis.
Cabbage
Because of its antioxidant properties, it prevents the cardiovascular diseases.
Carrot
Powerful antioxidant, a source of beta carotene , prevents cardiovascular disease. Neutralizes the negative effects of tobacco in the heart.
Celery
Reduces hypertension
Artichokes
Decreases cholesterol and triglycerides in blood.
Pumpkins
They have antioxidant properties that prevent cardiac diseases.
Beets
Because of their content in folate it prevents cardiac diseases
Soybean, beans, string beans, lentils and other legumes
Because of their content in fiber and phytoestrogens, legumes provide circulation to reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and raise "good." (HDL). Thins the blood and prevents thrombosis.
Nuts
Oils from the fruit of walnut help improve circulation and prevent arteriosclerosis. Linoleic acid content reduces cholesterol, lowers blood pressure and prevents the formation of thrombi.
Oats
It reduces cholesterol levels in the blood.

Parsley

It is one of the best diuretics being very appropriate in cases of obesity, rheumatic diseases and heart that are associated with water accumulation in the body
Apple
It reduces hypertension, it reduces cholesterol and is an aid to prevent the appearance of cardiac diseases.
Blue fish
Reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Its use prevents the formation of thrombi and increased triglycerides in the blood.
Mushrooms
Some mushrooms for their ability to thin blood, reduce blood pressure and cholesterol are particularly suitable in the diet for heart health. Among them the maitake and shiitake are worth highlighting.
