NATURAL REMEDIES AGAINST EXCESSIVE SWEATING

Causes of excessive sweating?

  • Excess of heat: Sweating is a natural mechanism of the body to release heat. When the outdoor temperature increases, the body produces more sweat, consisting mainly of water and salt. The evaporation of the water picks up heat and reduces body temperature. At the same time, the body eliminates toxins through the sweat glands of the skin, so that sweating is a healthy process for the proper functioning of the body.
  • Stress: A situation of corporal alarm before a real or imaginary danger or an emotional restlessness state produces a unloading of adrenalin and noradrenaline that is pronounced, among others many effects, in a remarkable increase of perspiration.
  • Fever: Fever is a symptom of many diseases and a resource to combat them. Increasing heat reactivates the immune system to stop the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms and kill them or make them less virulent.

How to use antitranspirants

It is better to use antitranspirants without alcohol and consider whether they can be allergic, reason why you must try on a small amount before rubbing the armpits well. Hypoallergic deodorants (those that do not produce allergy) are more recommended, because they do not contain alcohol nor perfume.

Antiperspirants that are industrially manufactured should not be abused. The maximum should be a couple of times a day. They are well suited for those who have excessive sweating.

  • Only use antiperspirants after a good personal hygiene, having bathed or showered, or thoroughly cleaned after the area where you have to apply it.
