Plant-based diet for strokes

Diet for cerebral embolism

Suitable food to prevent strokes

A suitable diet for strokes must be able to thin the blood. Vegetables such as peppers, garlic, onions should be included in this diet.

Ginger, cayenne, paprika, black pepper and other hot peppers are very suitable spices. Fruits are recommended, specially some nuts, such as almonds or peanuts.

Healthy unsaturated fats are very important to thin your blood. Blue oily fish (sardines, mackerel, tuna, etc.), fish oil, sunflower seed oil, sesame oil, or soybean oil are particularly interesting.

Foods rich in fiber can lower cholesterol and control constipation. These two anomalies favor circulatory problems such as varicose veins or hemorrhoids.
