Walnuts in the kitchen

How to eat walnuts?

Walnuts can be eaten raw or cooked. Raw walnuts can be eaten as we eat other nuts, such as almonds or hazelnuts. For example, we can take two or three walnuts from time to time at midmorning or midafternoon.

Walnuts can be part of many dishes, specially in raw vegetable salads, together with lettuce, chicory, red cabbage, etc.

Sometimes we find them as one of the main ingredientes in homemade desserts, either cooked or raw.
